Disney Dream Back-2-Back, 3 night and 4 night 17th-24th-Finished 3/18

I was hoping the return to the ship would be more like 1030 than 11ish for the B2B.... what was your room number, i see you had an inside, did you like it?

well we had two different rooms, both inside for cruise was aft and second was forward, both were good, as for B2B I don't know if 11:00am or after will be the normal time or not, maybe it was just for the one I did maybe not, it was not so bad waiting really, just was odd since last time I did a back-2-back we were checking in and getting back on the ship between 10:00 and 10:30, but that was the Magic, maybe the Dream is different. Still got a empty ship for a half hour or so I'd say and really only the pools were open at that time not aquaduck or anything else so it was chill

Well for B2B process this time, we got a letter in the room telling us what to do, we switched rooms so we had to leave, but room host got our bags to the other room. Us and others doing a back to back didn't get lead off the ship, said to be off the ship around 9:00am with everything you need to check in, do once we saw line was close to ending got in line and went through customs. Got back in the terminal and checked in for second cruise along with others doing b2b. B2b people were let on the Dream again around 11:00-11:15.

February 16th, 2011-Wednesday

Woke up around 5:00am since I couldn't sleep I have been waiting for this day for a while. Got out of bed and got dressed and ate some breakfast, can't remember what time we left the house this morning, but we left after 7:00am I want to say. Drove to Newark airport and parked the car and took the bus to terminal c. Got checked in and checked the bag and went through security my one bag was pulled so had to go to the side. After that we headed to the gate area, got gum and food for the flight and waited till we boarded. Flight took off on time and if I remember right we got to Orlando a little early. Went to got the luggage and then went and got the rental car. Since we hadn't had lunch yet today, we decided to head to Downtown Disney for lunch and to say we went somewhere in Disney World, I mean it's like we hadn't been there in forever, we were there just 14 or so days before.

Went and got a late lunch at Earl Of Sandwich, went to World Of Disney and then grabbed some ice cream at Ghirardelli. Left Downtown Disney and drove to Cocoa Beach, got to the hotel and checked in, we got upgraded to a suite.

We rested in the room for a while and then went out shopping for my dad so he could get beer and sunblock, but before we left we took pictures for the parking level at our hotel, yup that's right we could drive up to level 5 of the hotel.

After shopping for stuff we went back to the room and relaxed some more. Got dinner at the shark pit in the lobby and went to the shop as well, dinner was good I had a crab cake sandwich.

After dinner went to the room at relaxed for the night, cool view from the room

I can't remember what time I went to sleep, but I want to say maybe 1:00am since I just couldn't fall asleep from being excited.

February 17th, 2011-Thursday
Woke up around 5:00am again, yup was too excited to sleep, got up and took and shower and got ready for the day, dad went and got some free coffee in the lobby while I got ready. Dad came back and we hung out in the room till around 7:00am or so and then went over to Mcdonalds for breakfast since it was across the street. After breakfast went back to the room and finished packing, since it was only 8:00am by now we decided to go take a walk on the beach and stuff.

Went to Ron Jon Surf Store and bought a shirt and glow in the dark sun glasses.

After shopping head back to the hotel

Got back to the room and went on the computer a little, around 9:15am or so headed to the rental car since we were ready to leave and didn't want to sit around.

We left around 9:25am to drive to the terminal, dad dropped me off and we got a porter to take the bags and while dad went and returned the rental car at budget I got in the line that was forming. Dad got back before people were being let in the port so we waited in line excited to be at port. Finally at about 10:30am they started letting us all in the port.

February 17th, 2011-Thursday continued

So we got in the terminal and checked in at the Platinum desk at the terminal then found seats and looked around the terminal.

Finally it was time to board the Disney Dream. Got our boarding picture.

We had our name said getting on the ship and were then greeted by Ponz, yeah that was awesome. We headed up to Cabanas for our first lunch of the cruise.

Lunch was good I love the selection they had, I could get fries and chicken tenders which were amazing, also shrimp and other great things. After lunch walked around the ship exploring and taking pictures and videos.

more exploring and taking pictures of the ship. We also ran into Dave(Aussie one) that we knew from the Magic, he told us he got on a few cruises ago and it was pretty easy to get around if you have been on the classic ships, he was right.

By now it was about 1:30pm and staterooms were ready so we went to check ours out.

After a while my dad and I both split up to explore the ship. First I'll post pictures I took.

My dad and I met back up in the stateroom before the lifeboat drill.

The lifeboat drill was in Evolution for us on this cruise so it was good we got to see that and be inside and we didn't need to wear life jackets. After the lifeboat drill was the sail away party which is different then on Magic and Wonder, but it was great on the Dream as well.

After the sail away party walked around a while then headed down to deck 4 and watched us sail out of port, Ponz had a few minutes of free time before having to work, so he joined me out of deck 4 watching us sail out of port. Ponz had to go, so said bye and said I would for sure see him later.

well on both my cruises they had two sail away party's I want to say one at 2:30 or so and one at 4:30, can't remember for sure need to look at my navigators to find out

Walked around a little more exploring and then went back to the stateroom to get ready for dinner. Tonight we had dinner at Animator's palate. It's different on the Dream then on the Wonder/Magic, but it's good in it's own way.

We met our tablemates for the 3 night cruise, who were nice and we also met our servers for the 3 night cruise Jayson and Adriana who were great. For dinner I had Lobster Cheese Cake, looked better then it tasted. I wouldn't get it again, but at least I tried it.

main course was a seafood type pasta

for dessert I had cookies and cream ice cream sundae which was amazing.

After dinner we left and went to the stores. Deck 3 while walking to the stores.

I bought a purse I wanted and some other things I thought might sellout faster in sizes I wanted. After shopping we went back to the stateroom to drop off the things, then I left my dad for a while and walked around some more.

Met up with my dad at 8:30pm and we went to find seats for The Golden Mickeys.

The Golden Mickeys were good this trip and some parts were new, so glad I saw it. After the show went to deck 11 and grabbed some pizza.

Then headed down to Evolution to catch Match Your Mate which was funny yet again. After that stayed in Evolution for a while then decided I might want to see the movie "I Am Number Four", but since I don't like that type of movie and I was tired I decided to go to sleep a little earlier tonight. So headed to the stateroom, but not before my nightly trip up to deck 11 to get some Hi-C or Tea.

So I watched some tv for a while looked over the navigator for the next day and went to sleep.

February 18th, 2011-Friday-Nassau
Woke up around 7:15am or so, got ready for the day. Dad had a massage this morning at 8:00am or so I think so he headed for that and I headed out to explore the Dream after planning to meet him for breakfast after his massage. So exploring I went, but not before taking a video tour of the stateroom.

Dad was late so for meeting me so grabbed breakfast at Cabanas. When I was done eating dad saw me and I made a plan to meet up with him a little later and off I went. The princess gathering was happening in the Atrium, so went and saw that for a little.

Went to the sports court and shot a few baskets and took more pictures.

After that went back to the stateroom for a while and got ready pirate night dinner.

Walked around a little and then met up with my dad outside Enchanted Garden for dinner. Can't remember what I had tonight, but it was good and got another picture taken at dinner.

After dinner headed up to deck 11 for a drink of Hi-C and for Mickey's Pirates show.

Mickey's Pirates was pretty good, like this new version. After that met up with my dad again outside the Walt Disney Theatre and we got seats for tonights show Villains Tonight, good show and funny. After the show headed back up to deck 11 for Buccaneer Blast and Club Pirate.

After the fireworks and a little club pirate I left to go to Evolution for Jeff Civillico Adult only show. I actually didn't expect him to be on the Dream when I was sailing since he had told me on facebook before I left he wasn't going to be on, so glad I got to see him many times on the Dream. After Jeff Civillico I stayed in Evolution for a while and then headed up to deck 11 for another Hi-C and Tea. Headed back to the stateroom after that and went to sleep because tomorrow morning was castaway cay.

we got there at about 9:40am, had to wait in a line, not too long when we got in it for the gates to open for our first cruise

We had early seating. So for pirate night our night was as follows on the 4 night

Dinner, Mickey's Pirates In The Caribbean, Mark Nizer in Walt Disney Theatre(no real show that night, just a juggler), Buccaneer Blast/Club Pirate.

February 19th, 2011-Saturday-Castaway Cay

Woke up around 7:00am, I mean who can sleep in on vacation? I sure can't. Got ready and headed up to Cabanas at 7:30am for some breakfast. After breakfast went back to the stateroom to get ready for the beach. Once ready for the beach my dad and I headed up to deck 12 for some pictures of me, my dad likes to have pictures of me with castaway cay in the background.

After pictures left my dad and told him I'd see him sometime later today. And took a few more pictures before getting off the ship.

So got off the Dream and headed to my favorite spot on Castaway Cay. Got some chairs in my favorite spot which was good.

Relaxed on the beach for a while and dad saw me

we chatted for a while and then dad left to go take some pictures and do other stuff, but my before taking my picture for me.

While my dad was taking pictures and doing what he was doing. I took a dip in the water which was kind of chilly, but better then water in New Jersey at the time, got my picture taken.

Dad came back and we hung out in the chairs for a while. I went to grab some lunch while dad relaxed a little. After lunch I got a konk kooler and relaxed in the chairs while dad grabbed some lunch, while he got lunch he saw this.

I think dad left me for the rest of the day at this point. I think he rented a bike and here are some pictures he got.

I relaxed on the beach for a bit more then decided to explore a while before heading back to the ship.

Got back on the Dream and headed to the stateroom and took a shower. After taking a shower and packing up some things went to the top decks and took some pictures.

After See Ya Real Soon headed to the stateroom to get ready for dinner and finishing packing because although we were doing a back-2-back we were changing rooms on the second cruise. Found this in the stateroom.

Went to see Jeff Civillico family show and then met up with dad outside of royal palace for dinner, our one table mate wasn't feeling well tonight so she didn't come to dinner, but he husband came, so we got to talk a little more with him for dinner I got french onion soup, I got duck which I got a picture of and can't remember what I got for the main dish.

After dinner walked around for a while and took a picture of two.

Met up with dad outside the Walt Disney Theatre again and we got seats for the show called Disney's Believe which was pretty amazing if I say so myself. After the show went back to the stateroom real quick and dropped off a few things and took a picture of this.

Went to Evolution since Jeff Civillico was having another Adult only show, so had to see that and it was great once again. After Jeff Civillico was appearances by the Evolution Dancers and DJ Randy playing music so watched the dancers for a while and then walked around the ship since it was late and empty and got some pictures.

Got some Hi-C and tea and then headed to the cabin for the night, since I knew we had to be up early tomorrow morning and I wanted to be well rested to stay up late tomorrow night.
