Packing completed! Now just one more day of work and then our fairy godmother (Southwest Airlines) will be flying us off to paradise! Can't wait to meet you all. No worries about the weather. I rather be on the ship then sitting at home...

Packing - forget it...we will pack Saturday before we drive up in the evening...besides DS Mason is still at summer camp until Friday and flies back in the afternoon...and most of his clothes get delivered...to be washed or burned as appropriate....late Friday....

Weather - I am not worried based on present forecast....storm should be well past by Sunday evening when we actually leave port and current path puts port on weak side of what is a fairly minimal storm, at least to those of us who live in South Florida, though of course any storm can have its dangers...but we don't even think of hurricane shutters until Cat 3, and this may not make Cat 1....also, the seas behind the storm should settle pretty quickly.

The weather was fantastic today. Hot as can be, but great for tanning. My friend and I went to Typhoon from 10 to 4 today and it was sunny the whole time.

Steamy hot, but still beautiful. We've had some heavy storms, but they were fast moving. Otherwise I'd say we've had excellent weather!

Weather looking better based on latest about Emily....

Our son will now be real easy to spot in the Tween Club...he will be the one sporting the full knee immobilizer...seems a rock got in his way last night at camp (he flies home tomorrow after 8 weeks)....but we hear the x-rays were negative...

I'm cautiously relieved about Emily.

Mostly packed... except for a couple dresses that are being held hostage at my dry cleaner. OK, maybe that is a harsh way to put it, lol, but when I stopped over there to pick them up today, there was a random handwritten sign that they were closed today and tomorrow. So hopefully they will be open Sat morning or I will not be a very happy camper.

We are cruising on the 12th, is anyone worried about TS Emily? I didn't get the disney insurance, let the TA talk me into Access America, said it was the same but cheaper. Thoughts???

Sorry to hear about your son's knee! I' m sure he will still have a great time! I'll tell Ethan (who looks like Calvin from Calvin and Hobbs cartoon) to look for him! We fly down tomorrow! Yeah!

We just got back from Harry Potter. It was great! Very hot and humid yesterday. It's better today. Weather forecast seems to be improving!

I am on the 12th cruise with you along with this cruise, and we don't have trip insurance either...we are just going to play it however it goes at this point...we have been down here in Disney a week, and things have been great for us, so more days at the parks if needed would be okay with us... I hope not, but I'm prepared for whatever comes our way.... I just hope we get to see CC at least once out of our 3 stops!!
