on my kids face is priceless! My mother even gets a kick out of me "lying " to the kids 
. I will have my video camera ready on the day we set sail in hopes of catching a YouTube moment from the shear heart stopping excitement that will radiate from my kids! 
We will be on this cruise too, son, 8; son, 5 and daughter 4. We will be traveling with my in-laws. First cruise for husband and the kids! Very excited. I have purchased the fish extender from ebay, but not sure how it works. At this point, Im ready to buy easy little trinkets for the kids myself, haha. This will be our very 1st Disney cruise & between myself, my husband & our Disney-obsessed (JUST turned) 3 year old son, Knox, I can't say who is most excited! Our son LOVES Mickey Mouse & pretty much all Disney characters....We took him to The Magic Kingdom this past November, & I have never seen a more elated child!! It was THE best family vacation to date! So now, of course, our goal is to top it!....We want to make THE MOST possible out of this trip. That said, we would love to be a part of the FE group as well! **ALL tips, notes & advise for this newbie regarding the FE group &/ or anything else Disney-cruising-related are much appreciated (in advance)!! 
FE organizers generally need to know how many people (adults/children) are participating in each cabin. Other information you would like to share such as first names, ages of child participants, allergies, favorite characters, etc. is up to you. Other personal information is not really necessary. Those organizing FEs typically ask for the information to be posted in the meet thread or sent to them via PM.
For those posting in this Cruise Meet thread to join a FE, since no one seems to be coming forward to organize a FE for this cruise here on the DIS, please feel free to start the FE right in this thread.
There is certainly enough time to plan a latecomers FE for this cruise. All it takes is for someone to maintain a list of/for those participating which can easily be done in this thread. Cruise Meet threads have been doing it this way for years now here on the DIS. If anyone is interested in doing this, feel free to contact me for some suggestions.

) Hi there! I too am coming from SD for the trip and it's me, my 9 yo son and 7 yo daughter. We want to participate in the FE as well. I'm not sure how it works but wonder if we can just "adopt" each others families? Have you received any other instructions? If not, we could commit to giving to each others families. In regards to signing up to be a part of our cruise's FE family, please read the following! As a Disney Cruise 1st timer myself, I will do my best to try and make this as simple a process as possible; However, ALL notes, tips and/ or ideas are greatly welcomed & appreciated along the way!
First, if (like myself, prior to this important tip from Webmaster Doc) you have not posted at minimum 10 messages, please do the following so that we may communicate via PM (private message). This is solely for the purpose that we may then have the ability to share details regarding ideas for FE gifts amongst only those participating.
For those who are new with only a few posts, they will not be able to use the PM system until they reach 10 posts. Suggest they to go to the DIS Technical Support/Test board where they can quickly and easily post some one word (or one letter) posts to get their count up to 10. Once you have 10 posts, you will be able to send a PM (now called "Conversation"). There will be a link at the upper right on every page to your "Inbox" and you can click on any username and a link to "Start a conversation" will be available. In addition, you will then be able to upload images and have links in your signature.
*For all of participants, please PM the following info (at minimum) to me ASAP:
--Number of people (adults/ children) participating per cabin
--Age(s), First Name(s) & Gender of each participant (*Info inclusive of, but not limited to, favorite character(s), etc., is encouraged!)
--Stateroom Number(s)
--Please note any & all allergies, as applicable, per every individual participating!
In order for everyone to know what gifts will be most relevant to the likes of each individual is ideal, thus I believe the more info provided, the better. That said, pease feel free to be as detailed, or the less, as you prefer!

We welcome & very much encourage ALL ages in fact! (Who doesn't enjoy a fun surprise, esp on vacation!?!?) From the babies, toddies, tweens, teens, exhausted 'rents, grams, gramps, greaties & on....let's ALL have fun! Please include all interested in your notes & info so that our FE family may "gift" accordingly. (However, if some do not wish to participate within a party, no worries!))!
