We just booked this cruise this week due to a scheduling issue. It will be my parents and my brother's first cruise and #2 for DD and I! Can't wait!

Hey everyone! We are SO excited for our Christmas cruise!!

Question--what is everyone doing for Christmas decorations? A magnetic Christmas tree? Mini electric tree? Nothing?

Do you guys bring presents along, or how do you do normal Christmas festivities?

Is there anything special DCL does so we're not duplicating efforts?

When is pirate night on this itinerary? When are formal portrait nights?

Sorry for the zillion questions!

I will likely bring a very small Christmas tree, but we will also have to have birthday decorations up as it's my DD's 7th birthday on Christmas eve! I saw a little tree in the £ shop last year, so will probably buy one of those!
As for presents, I figured that the CM's cover over one of the pools so that Santa can land his sleigh and will be able to deliver a few small pressies that he will put in the stocking that will be on the end of DD's bed The other presents he will leave at home waiting for when we get back!

Its getting so exciting!!!

We will be bringing some garland to hang in the room and a small tree. We also have "disney" stockings that we bring each year we spend Christmas at WDW (this will be our first Christmas on a cruise) but plan to do something similar. I believe Santa will give out something small to the children on Christmas and that something may also be given to the family. I love that there will be milk and cookies for everyone on Christmas eve to put out for Santa. We always have Santa bring our larger gifts to our room when we are away. We say it is too much for him to bring to wherever we are celebrating. This will be a far different experience than being on land for Christmas.

Happy birthday...how exciting to be cruising on your birthday!

I believe that Pirate night is the 26th. That is what my Travel Agent said.

Aww, I didn't know that there will be milk and cookies we can put out for Santa. He'll be getting two snacks from us then as we will have to leave one out at home before we leave on the 16th

Hi All!
My family is officially sailing for Christmas! All is paid off and we are ready to set sail.
My family spent Christmas at the World last year so we are looking forward to celebrating at sea this year with our extended family.
We are looking for an FE group to join. We are four families all together.
