It's our first time too but I don't think there is a right or wrong. We have one gift for each person. That's just how I did it! Have fun with it! I'm getting my kids involved in tagging everything and helping where they can. It just one more fun thing to do together!

This FE group will include everyone on the list.

You decide how you want to gift. Some do a gift per person. Others might give a family gift. Or maybe a cabin gift and an extra something for the kids. That is up to you!

I love that everyone has gotten in on this conversation- Definitely choose how you would like to do it- I have done for everybody, my Daughter has done by Family(Stateroom) Also only 1 for the entire cruise is usual- I know that there have been others on past cruises that it was a small goodie a day but their group were FE group was smaller- No they didn't separate into smaller groups That was all that signed up.
I am quite impressed with our group,
I wasn't expecting such and amazing turnout!!!

Going to be quite the Sail Away Party if we all get in one place- Any Ideas an location and time?

FYI- The Owens Family has a 12 year old daughter that would like to start conversation with girls her age for the Cruise- Maybe Erin can make a friend before we board!!

There is a character dressed up party around 7. In between dinner seatings. The adult pirates come out after the second seating. Fireworks around 10ish and a buffet after that. Adult costume party after that in the dance club. Around 11

GENERAL FE INFORMATION

For those who are new to this awesomecruise experience, the Fish Extender itself is a pocket panel you hang from the fish shaped hook outside your stateroom. These can be homemade or you can purchase them on sites like Etsy.

Families that join then leave, and are left, gifts in the Fish Extender pockets.

It's a LOAD of FUN

-- Family Last Name (helps with personalizing family gifts)
-- First names of those participating, ages of kids in cabin and whether boys (B) or girls (G)
-- Favorite Disney character for each of the people in your cabin, if any (this helps if people make gifts specific to the people in the room)
-- Any special cruise celebrations
-- Any food allergies, etc

If you are uncomfortable posting any of the personal information, you can simply say "Adult,Male" or "Girl, 8" for example.

As families join, I'll keep a master list of our group on entry #3. The week after our cut-off has passed, I can make a spreadsheet of all the info., organized by deck for convenience

GIFTS AND DATES

Gifts can be homemade or storebought. That's part of the fun . . . the variety of gifts that everyone brings! There are great threads with ideas here.

Hello. We are new to this Forum. We have cruised Disney many times in the past, but this is the first time we wanted to participate in the FE program. We had NO IDEA, there was a sign-up. I seriously just thought I would hang my FE, bring my gifts and exchange. I have worked on my gifts for a few weeks. What can I do since the group closed last month? Please Please Please help me out. Hello. My family would like to participate in the FE program. We have cruised Disney many times and this is our first time participating. I know we are late... but I had no idea there was a sign up process . Tbh I thought we just showed up with gifts. We have been pintresting for a couple weeks and have many gifts to share and have also made our FE. My little boy is super excited to see his surprises. Is there any way at all we can still participate? We have 2 staterooms. Please please please say yes .
