Disney done differently, (BOG dining updates pages 202 and 203)

OMGosh...now do we make the TSM dash or the Jedi training dash?! :scared1: I wonder if I can convince my DH to go one way and get FP for TSM while I take the boys the other way to get signed up....

Do they issue a "fast pass" thing to come back for training...or do you have to wait their until your time?

Is "Sounds Dangerous" gone as an attraction? It was not high on our list of things to do...

I  the pictures of Anakin...the princess pictures are precious and the Jedi training was priceless!

I'd suggest sending dh with the passes to TSM and you and the kids heading straight to Sounds Dangerous to Register. You have to go inside the sliding doors and get in the line.

Individually they take each child's name and ask they child those questions. So it takes a while for the line to move. They write down the child's name, tell you your show time, and hand you a paper that says what time to return to Sounds Dangerous.

Our return time was 11:15 for the 11:45 show. I didn't think to take a pic of our return ticket. I did take one for the Jedi photopass ticket, lol.

The whole process, waiting in line and registering took us about 30 minutes.

Um, not sure who's older!! I'm 37....Chris is 41. I am hoping we can celebrate good news Saturday. I did get good news today, after 6 months, we're FINALLY getting our taxes!!! Long story there....so now they won't come take my car!! LOL Chris is on his way home too. He wants to go with me in the morning.

We had until 11:15am. Anakin ate the grapes from his Cosmic Rays meal the day before as a snack to hold him over til 11:15. He was too excited to eat!

I saw there was a Disney Junior show, but we weren't sure we'd make it there in time. So without saying anything to Anakin, we headed that direction. We did get to see the show! He loved it!! He said it's his favorite show at Disney. His favorite part was the gold doubloon and streamers!! He had plenty for souvenEARS!!

Waiting for the show to start

I wish they were out of the house. :lmao::lmao::lmao:

Andy is still living at home at least until he gets a full time teaching job; Markie currently lives in Dubuque where he coaches, but he may be home in a year or two.

I'm gonna sit back and let ya'll argue this one out!!! HAHA And remember, you're only as old as you THINK you are!! With that, I have the mind set of a teenager, and the body of a 80 year old!!! LOL

some mornings feel at least 80, especially when my knees crack and sore back....I try to act like a teenager, but for some reason Megan doesn't like it :confused3 :rotfl::rotfl2::lmao:

Oh the taxiing is enough to wear me out the most. I feel like I am constantly running after one if my three teenagers.

I do NOT miss those days at all. Also don't miss the early morning practices, the sitting in bleachers for 8 hours every Saturday and Sunday. There are blessings to them growing up.

Lol!

One of the things dh and I have always said to Grumpy when he thinks he knows everything is that we know this or that because we went to college. I tried that the other day, and he reminded me he is taking a college course now. So I quickly added he can use the college trump card on me once he graduates from college!

I told the oldest one that she is learning to drive and we are starting this weekend. Honestly? I am so excited to think that at least one of them will be able to drive.

Grumpy has his driver's license!! Makes it soooooo much easier on me. Sadly, he doesn't like to drive. He is volunteering at a homeless shelter and was worried about where to park today, so I dropped him off and picked him up. I hope next time he will drive!

My daughters have never shown any interest until today when their brother was saying only five months until he can get his permit. Then all of a sudden my 17 year old wants to drive.:confused3 Sometimes I wonder.

Maybe having their own taxi and chauffeur at their beck and call makes it too easy on them? He is good at highway driving. He's driven to Clearwater a dozen times and to Daytona. But he sticks to around town driving mostly. And the occasional errand to the store to pick up something for me.

Finding a QS breakfast at DHS is difficult!!! And lunch doesn't start until 11:00 or 11:30 at most of the QS. I was starved and knew that Anakin needed some protein in him before he did the Jedi Training. We went off in search of breakfast. Breakfast is no longer served at ABC Commissary! The only QS I could find with breakfast was Fairfax Fare. I ordered the Egg and Cheese Muffin, only to find out they were OUT OF EGG!! So I ended up with a bacon and cheese muffin. (I get hemiplegic migraines when my blood sugar drops and protein seems to get my levels up quicker than sugar or carbs.) I was charged $5.39 instead of $5.99 for my muffin.

I grabbed some strawberry jam and met back up with Goofy and Anakin outside of ABC Commissary. We sat at an outside table. Anakin was too nervous to eat, but he downed 2 slices of bacon. I ate the other 2 slices of bacon and a slice of cheese. Put jam on half a muffin and ate that too. The muffin was gummy in texture, but the jam tasted good! I threw away the other slice of muffin and cheese.

I got a text from Grumpy that he was at Sounds Dangerous and didn't see us. So we met him over there. We checked in and went inside to sit down and wait. There was another family there before us. I felt like I was being watched. I wondered if if was a DIS family? I looked for any signs of LGMHs but didn't see any. I finally struck up conversation and was asked if I was on the DIS boards. It was a follower of this thread, cgncga!! She recognized us from the pictures. How cool was that?

The children were asked to form a line to walk over to Jedi Training. I grabbed Anakin's stroller from outside and walked along side of him. Grumpy and Goofy weren't able to get up with us. I wanted to make sure he was ok walking over there. I parked the stroller at the tape where the parents may stand, and Grumpy stood over by Anakin until he felt he was ok on his own with the other children. I offered cgncga's daughter the stroller to sit in if she wanted. But they went around to the other side of the tape instead.

(As Murphy's Law would have it, I could see their daughter perfectly the whole time on stage, and they could probably see Anakin the whole time. I am sooooo glad we got the photopass!! Those pics are great!! I finished editing them last night. Can't wait for the CD to arrive!!)
