Disney Dollars

Hi All,

I'm not sure where to put this so, I hope this is the right spot. I want to buy some fine glitter (pixie dust) and Disney Dollars to leave in the room from Tink. My question is, has anyone ordered Disney Dollars by mail? There is no Disney Store nearby and I would rather have the $ ready before we get to Disney World.

Also, what do the Disney Dollars look like? Are there different characters on each bill?

I don't think you can buy them online for some reason. You might try calling the Walt Disney World Merchandise Order # 1-407-363-6200 and see if they can help you. Otherwise, you'll have to stop at guest relations on your way in to the park and buy them. I do know they sell them there.

You can't get DD's on line - just gift certs. My birthday was last month and my sister tried to order Disney's Dollars but could only get a GC. Works great for me of course - but probably not as fun for the kids as getting Disney Dollars!

.I found the number and the information I was looking for. The phone number for Ticket Services is: (407)566-4985. You can order Disney Dollars by mail or by phone but, only up to $50 by credit card and up to $650 by check. Chicken Little's face is on them right now. Thank you all for taking the time to answer my post.

Just back from my Disney store and here are the #'s I was given:
Disneyland- 714-781-4043
WDW- 407-934-7639
Those are the #'s to order Disney dollars. My local store has them now. They only had singles. I was told they are awaiting an order that should be in this spring. They will be celebration of the 50th anniversary theme.

I have some that I bought in February - the $1 has Mickey and $5 has Goofy. I bought more last week that has Chicken Little, but I got the impression that these are temporary and won't be around long.

Also, I think I'm confusing myself - can someone straighten me out? When making a purchase with Disney Dollars, do you receive change if your purchase is less than the Disney Dollars you use to pay? I've been buying mine in small increments, mostly $1's and $5's because of this, but now I'm thinking that maybe I'm analyzing too much.

When using DD you get cash back for change.

I'd be nervous getting DD in the mail as they are the same as cash. If someone gets a hold of them, they are gone, untraceable. Just an FYI...

I'm bummed out now.
I went to a Disney Store yesterday by me to get my kids Disney Dollars for their birthdays and found out that they were ALL sold out. I asked the lady at the desk if she knew when they would be getting some more in and she said she didn't know when they would be getting more in. I am hoping to
try again before we go on our Disney trip in May.
