Does anyone know if I can buy Disney Dollars at my local Disney Store?

It is my godson's birthday and he will be going to DisneyWorld in two weeks and I want to send him with money so he can buy some toys in Disney!!!

Absolutely! For my cousin's 25th wedding anniversary, my family got together and got disney dollars at our Disney Store for them to use for their November, 2005 trip.

We ran out of them at our DS about a week before X-mas and haven't received any new ones yet.

My understanding is that the TDS managers recieved notice that DD$ would not be shipped to (or restocked to) the stores until later in the spring of this year (to co-ordinate with the Disneyland 50th Celebration). However, if guests need to get some DD$ you can call WDW at 407-934-7639 to purchase them thur the mail. Again, starting this spring (my guess is late March to mid April) all Disney Stores will have the newly redesigned DD$ to sell.

We just got back on Sunday night. I purchased Disney dollars about 3 days before Christmas at our local Disney Store. They had every demonination available at that time.

Call to see what they have in stock: the store I purchased my most recent batch from had only 5s and 10s.

Our store ran out before Christmas and we've only been restocked with singles. We won't be getting in any othe denomination until spring.

A lot of Disney Stores have ben running our of DD$. My local store only had some fives (from 1999!) and some of the new Chicken Little ones. I picked up some of the Chicken Littles for my collection, although as a collector I don't think much of the design.

I called my local Disney store and they have $1.00 only .. but I think my godson will like getting a ton of ones even better than a 5 or 10 !!
