Our kids wanted to give my cousin cash as a wedding gift so they could use it towards the cruise. They thought it would be neat to give them a gift card from the disney store. When we went to the Disney store last night the cashier said that the gift card could only be used at a dinsey store or the catalog and not on the ship. I noticed they had disney dollars also. Since we are wanting the Disney theme I asked if they could use the disney dollars towards the ship board account. She was not sure if that was possible. Has anyone ever used disney dollars from the disney store towards your ship board account? I was told that the disney dollars from the store are different from the ones you get from the disney visa card.

Yes, you can use disney dollars to apply to your ship board account.....go to guest services on deck 3 and they will get you set.....Andy
