Disney’s own currency. Essentially a fancy gift card but as actual bills.
They were discontinued 3 years ago, but are supposed to still be accepted. You may have an issue redeeming it depending on where you want to use them, most people seem to have kept them as souvenirs, so it’s unlikely the stores there have seen them in some time. Honestly though, you’re better off selling them on eBay, you could get more than face value for them. If you use it in a store you’ll only get the dollar amount.
Does anyone know if you can call ahead to have the Disney Rewards applied to your bill? I have a card with over $2000 on it, and I do not want to risk losing it while traveling, as our Aulani stay is the end of a 2 week trip. Thanks in advance!
I asked this question about linking a Disney gift card to our room when we checked in and they said "No". I think this is the only time I heard this word there whole trip from Disney. The day we checked out i went to the front desk and applied our gift cards to the balance.

They won't let you apply payment in advance (gift cards or Disney Rewards dollars), but you don't have to wait until the last day. You can pay your balance down at at anytime during your visit. You just can't pay more than your balance.
Yes, but I was thinking more along the lines of being out at the pool or beach and charging to the room for lunch instead of bringing money down or going up to get it
