I thought that the answer was no, but recently someone mentioned that they got them on their trip. I'm sure that someone will be along soon with a more definitive answer.

I'm glad to hear that. I wish I would have known that for our trip. That's the last time that I trust information that I get from anywhere other than the Dis!

YOu have to buy the disney dollars at the parks. You can no longer get them at the Disney store.

We were there last month and got some at the Outpost. They also sell them at guest relations at Pioneer Hall.

tell them how many of each denomination ($1 , 5, 10) you want, and add $15.00 handling fee to a check for the grand total, e.g.

5 dollar 12 $ 60.00
10 dollar 24 $ 240.00
$ 300.00
Handling $ 15.00
$ 315.00

It takes about 2-3 weeks for them to be sent to you fedex.

(Iam not trying to get you to spend extra money on the handling fee - unless Disney gives me a commission) -Disney actually makes it hard to discover how to get them now. They would clearly rather use gift cards which are cheaper to produce (the lithography on the D$ is quite excellent and relatively costly. BTW) and easier to control.

Holiday gifts, birthday - that's why I ordered my disney $$ by mail! They'll make nice stocking and card stuffers and be part of the anticipation. Worth $15 IMHO, but probably not if you only get a few bucks worth - the same $15 covers up to $650 in D$.

I don't see much sense buying them at the parks - to spend at the parks?

Dead presidents are good enough for "here's $5 - get yourself a cracker, kid"

The disney stores used to charge a fee also - but no longer carry them after splitting from Ma Disney, I guess four or so years ago.

Our son and his (x)girlfriend always went with us to Disney. Up until recently, each trip we would give them a buncha Disney Dollars and tell them to go out and hava nice supper on us. He hated the disney dollars,,he's 27,,usta crack me up,

ok good to know that they still have them. I'm going to give my daughters spending money so I thought I would get them the disney dollors instead of a gift card to use at the parks or fort.

we have Canadian family members going to the Parks in January and wanted to give them disney dollars for Christmas. Sorry to be high maintenance PapaDoc, would you know what tele # to call? I think it would take too long if I mailed in my request and maybe I could call or fax.

I got the information via WDW ticketing phone contact - just tell them you want to talk to the folks who take care of Disney dollars orders: however I was not successful getting them to take a credit card or phone order... I really thik they are trying to phase out the "product" in view of how secretive the ordering process is, etc.

Let me know if you have any luck, though!
