Disney Dollars??

What are they and how do I get them? It would be great to get them for my DD who is 6 years old.. She would get a kick out of having her own money to spend while in the parks? What can it be used for also? Just merchandise or can she also use it for snacks.....Thanks for the help!

Disney store is the best place to get them if you havent left yet. They sell them at most locations-- (all i have ever tired to get them) They are cute, and make great gifts to bring home for the friends and family!

At WDW there is a place in MK to your left when you walk in where they sell disney dollars (I can't for the life of me think of the name right now- maybe City Hall? I just know the location, but that's because I'm a girl!). I'm not sure about the other parks- just bought them in MK.

Oh- you can use it just like real $ anywhere in the parks. (Though I've heard people used it to tip Cm's and they were not happy!)

Hi Neighbor!! We're in Cherry Hill.
My grandmother lives in Pennsauken.

There is a Disney store in Cherry Hill Mall that sells them. They make great stocking stuffers. They can be used anywhere Disney that you have to pay for something, even on the cruise ships. Also if you don't feel like dealing with the mall sometimes I just order Disney gift cards online. They're not as fun as Disney Dollars but there's also no shipping cost so they're good in a pinch.

Hi neighbor!!!! I was just up there today and now I have to go back and get those Disney Dollars.... I think it will make for the experience for my DD!!!! Can't wait to leave... we are leaving in 11 days!!!!

I got some from my local Disney Store and you can order them from disneyshopping.com, but beware if you order them online, there is a hefty shipping charge.

I only bought $10 worth and have been letting my son (4) and daughter (6), "earn" them by cleaning their room and helping out around the house. They then go into our Disney saving piggy bank.

The rest I earn thru a rewards program online (see my signature). I earn at least $10 a week, usually more, which comes out to over $500 for saving for a year. Plus, thru my rewards program, I can cash out anytime, it takes less than a week for me to receive them, and they only charge me $0.50 cent to ship them instead of the $10 Disney charges (which I still don't understand.) So I just save all my earnings in my account and cash out all at once so I only pay shipping 1 time.
