Disney Dollars

When and where do you buy your Disney Dollars? Can't find much reliable info on them online. Thanks in advance!

We always get our disney dollars at our Disney store. There are 2 stores by us. If you are buying them for kids, make sure your kids use them up on your trip. You can only use them at DTD, the parks, at your Disney resorts and restaurants. I think that may be it. If you have Disney Dollars left over you can use them at any Disney store.

I would totally get them at Guest Relations at Downtown Disney! I actually think that you can get DD at any Guest Relations! Or at any disney store in your home town! good luck!

Hi,

If you care about them for collecting, then you will have a better selection at the parks. Disney Store only has a certain selection they said. Example: I went in for the Pirates Limited Trilogy set dollars one for each movie and they never carried them, they said I had to go to the resorts and they only get a few different ones. Before you leave the parks and you have some left they will cash them in at City hall. If you use them they will give you regular change back.

Very cool. I will get them when I get there then because the nearest Disney Store in my part of Louisiana is 5,000 miles away.

And it's good to know I can cash them in! Great!

I buy a couple of Disney Dollars everytime I go to the mall (the closest mall with a Disney Store is about an hour away, so I don't go often). I keep them in the little envelope and toss them in my safety deposit box. I think that I have about $100 so far and we aren't going till August of 2008!! (I'll let DH use that as his pin money, he got way out of hand last time.!)
