Disney Dollars question

Can you buy anything with them? Can I pay for food in a restauruant? Is it just like cash? We have gotten about $150 worth from Christmas and Engagement Party.

as far as i'm aware theyre just like normal cash that you can spend in any disney operated venue

You can pay for anything with them within WDW (parks and resorts and part of DTD) or if you are staying onsite, just turn them in at checkin. They will sit on your account as a credit and than you can use your romm key to "charge against them". This way you don't have to worry about losing them.

tht's exactly right! you can use them anywhere in WD. We are even giving some to our bridal party to use as they wish when they are vacationing down there.

I'm glad to hear someone else has done that!! That's what we're planning to do, but a little part of me was worried that they wouldn't allow us to do that when we get there. We are hoping to have like $2,000 disneydollars saved for our hotels so we won't have to worry about using our charge card. It's a great way to save money, after each pay check we take a little out and go get some disney dollars!). Glad to hear for sure that it is possible!
