Disney Dollars question

I received $50 in Disney Dollars for my birthday. They are 5 - $10 bills with Mickey and Minnie in sunglasses on the front, but on the back it has Disneyland resort. Are ALL Disney Dollars equal? Just don't want to get to DW and find out they are only good at DLand!

They are the same ones we had for our last trip, you can use them in WDW

They are just promoting DL's 50th Anniversary...they change the Disney Dollar almost every year lately!

No worries...they will be taken at every Disney location.

My current suggestion is to never buy Disney Dollars from third parties and never take used Disney Dollars as change. There are counterfeits out there. Only getting mint condition dollars from Disney Stores or Disney parks assures you they are genuine.

Especially with frequent changes in design, it will be hard to tell counterfeits apart.

Disney Dollars are for practical purposes a use once throw away item.
