Disney Dollars question...?

I don't know that much about Disney Dollars accept they're used at Disney.

Where can you buy these and where can they be used? I have a souvenir budget and I thought it would be fun to let DD spend the money herself.

At any Disney Store but they cannot be bought online. And they can be used just about anywhere in WDW. We have bought shirts with them - another time we paid for a meal with them.

The Disney Dollars can be purchased at any Disney Store or you can get them in Disney. They can pretty much be used for anything at Disney....your hotel payment, meals, spending money at any of the shops, etc. My son loves having his own "money" when we go! The Disney Store used to change them back to regular dollars if you had the origional receipt but I do not think they do that any longer.

I gave some to my niece before our recent trip. She & I spent some time in the World of Disney store picking out stuff! She even picked out something for her little sister. For the rest of the week, whenever Dana used the cup, she would smile and say "Sas!" (her name for her sister). Another nice memory from the trip.

Disney Dollars can be bought at a Disney store or at a theme park or hotel. Our kids saved all their birthday/christmas/chore money and whenever they got $20 or so dollars we had to run to the mall to exchange them It worked out great that they had their own money and really spent it wisely. We are planning a family reunion for '06 and I plan on giving them to my nieces & nephews for their birthdays etc...

They can be used anywhere on Disney property like cash or at a Disney store. So in the parks you could use them for food at a restaurant,vendor cart,gift shop and food court. You can use them to pay for anything else also. You can purchase clothing,souvineers,snacks or anything at the gift shops,DTD and park stores. They are exactly like cash at a Disney cash register.
