Disney Dollars or Gift Cards?

Will someone explain to me the difference between Disney Dollars and the Disney Gift Cards? I am thinking of buying one or the other for Christmas Preasants and am wondering which would be better. Thanks!

If you are talking about the Disney Store Gift cards and Disney dollars, the biggest difference is with the Giftcard is you can only use it at the Disneystore itself, not at the themeparks. Disney dollars can be used for anything, at the Disney store or at the parks.

I think they have a new gift card that you can get on site and downtown disney that can be used in the parks, you can also load your disney dollars onto the card so you don't have to carry all the disney dollars around.hope this helps
