Disney Dollar designs announced!!!

Just wondering if anybody purchases these disney dollars to actually use??? or keep them as souveniers???? If you purchase them to use, to you suggest doing so...I would like to buy some, however, I would buy them more to use in the parks....does anyone have a picture of the new ones or old ones they could post???

I have only purchased to use. When we went to WDW in 2002. I had been saving change for quite a while and had $400 or so in change. I exchanged them for paper money and then bought Disney Dollars. This was our souviner money.

We purchase them for the kids to use mostly. I usually keep one for a souvenier. They are great for rewards if the kids have done something weill or above and beyond the call of duty. They get them for giifts from other family members too!

Oh good, I'm so glad they're coming out with $50...saves us some dollars instead of people clearing us out of what we have because they're buying a ton. This will help tremendously.

From working at WDW, I never saw a $20 Disney Dollar during my 7 months as a cast member. It was almost always 10's.

I'm seasonal now, and going back in the summer, so I can't wait to see the new ones.

I used to keep my DD's to save as well (scrapbooking! ), until I had the bright idea of scanning them (for my scrapbook only, no counterfeiting going on here! ), and then using them at Disney! The best of both worlds!

So happy to hear about the new addition of the $50 bill. I purchase many Disney Dollars for vacation, we're talking in the hundreds, and my husbands wallets bursts at the seams with 1's, 5's and 10's! Love to emerse ourselves in the whole Disney experience with spending DD instead of regular green cash..and no, we don't keep them as souveniers. Just spend them while we vacation at WDW.

I am very happy to see that Stitch will be on one of the Disney Dollars!

I have been saving money already to buy Disney Dollars, so when the Disney Store gets them in I can buy a ton of them all at once( because I know they are going to go like "hot cakes")!
