Well I made the final payment on our Disney trip at the end of last week and when I checked this morning, the payment was finally removed from our checking account. We are PAID IN FULL! :thumbsup2 I figured this was as good a time as any to start a pre-trip report and introduce our little family. :woohoo: This is our second trip to Disney as a family, mine and Dh's 4th trip together, and my 5th trip total. DH went to Disney several times as a child so I have no idea on his total number of trips. :confused3 Something new for us... this is our very first trip staying on Disney property. We've always stayed in a time share so this Disney 24/7 is going to be all new to us. :wizard: In a good way (I hope!)

Details:
Our trip is June 1-June 8
We're staying at Caribbean Beach Resort w/ the Dining Plan (no pirate room pirate: )
We're spending 1 day at Discovery Cove and 1 day at Sea World
We're flying down on Southwest Airlines at 7am, departing from Indy, returning on the 8th with our flight leaving at 7pm
I'd like to drive to Indy the night before our flight and stay in a hotel (about an hour and 1/2 drive). The details on that aren't worked out yet.
I'm heading up a PhotoPass share and hope we can find plenty of PhotoPass photog's on our trip. :rolleyes1

Introducing our crew!

Me (Angela-37) Lover of organizing and planning, over-user of smilies/emoticons and super excited to visit Disney again! :earsboy: I live for day to day magic and can't wait to be back in the magic of Disney again! :tinker:

DH (Todd-40; yeah that's right, he's the old geezer that is officially over the hill!:lmao:) Thinks all my planning and organizing for this trip is funny, but we all know he'll be thrilled when things go smoothly during our fun filled vacation! He gets motion sickness pretty bad and the last time we went to an amusement park he spent most of the day on the sidelines. :guilty: We're hoping some motion sickness medication will help him enjoy the rides again.

DD (Maya-14 in just a few days) My partner on the thrill rides.:drive: She's a typical self absorbed teen and loves herself and all things related to herself more than anything. princess: I remember on our last trip when Princess Aurora was what she loved the most. ha! I went to Disney with my parents when I was 14 and I let myself think I was too cool for Disney and put a damper on all the fun I could've had. I'm really hoping my dd doesn't do this to herself. I'm giving her a little pixie dust! pixiedust: She'll be swimming with the dolphins at Discovery Cove which she's done once before. She was 8 years old then and it's what she's looking forward to most on this trip. :lovestruc

DS (Evan-just turned 10) Evan is my smart little dude. :wizard: Many people say that talking to him is like talking to a little adult. ;) He's very excited about our upcoming trip and can't wait to soak it all up. :mickeyjum Most of all, he can't wait for Star Wars Weekend at DHS! :darth: He's kind of shy and says he won't volunteer to do the battle thing, but can't wait to watch it all happen. My sweet little DS has ADHD and struggles if he's not kept on a pretty tight schedule (meltdowns, temper issues). It's going to make our vacation a little more challenging to stick to his routine, but it will also make our vacation a more enjoyable one. :cloud9:

Here is a list of our scheduled ADR's:
Tues. June 2 - Breakfast at Chef Mickey's
Wed. June 3 - Dinner at 50's Prime Time
Thurs. June 4 - Dinner at LeCellier
Fri. June 5 - Breakfast at Cinderella's Royal Table and Dinner at Ohana
Sat. June 6 - Lunch at Sci Fi Dine-In Theater

I'm not going to kid you guys, the character meals are for me. :rotfl: I'm all about posing for pics with the characters on this trip and am going to attempt to force my kids to pose too, as often as possible. And (hopefully) they will do it for me, just because they love me!

As we get closer, I'll try to come back with updates on our packing and planning. Meanwhile, I'll be doing lots of :laundy: like every other mother in the world. Disney is only 56 days away!!!!! :dance3:
