I went to DS on Friday and got alot of deals on the stuff on clearance. When I was checking out the manager was telling me about how she is going to Disney Land next week. I was like really I have never been to either of them. I have it in writing finally that my DH will take me in 2005. She said start saving pennies etc. Which I am already doing thanks to this board! Well she said why dont you work here and buy disney dollars with what you make and then you can save for your trip and your DH cant use the savings account on something else. I was like thanks..

Well I went home and thought about it and talked to DH about it and decided to give it a shot. I am going to school and I find it hard to give up my evenings or weekends at home with him. Especially since he works 11 hours a day. Well I called on Sat to ask when they were having the seasonal hiring day and she said tomorrow after 2. Well I went in had the group interview and today less than 24 hours later they called and said I got the job!!!

I am so excited! I get my daily fix of Disney, get to be around people that are cheerful. And I get to save for my trip! WOoHoo... Thanks to whoever posted about the sale on Friday. They definately changed my christmas season!

That's too weird, check out my name!

I too am planning our first trip to WDW for 2005. It all started with that free video tape from Disney...
We're gonna use our tax refund to go and I've been putting $10 a week in our Mickey Money Jar. By the time we go, it'll be around $450! This will cover our food expenses (I hope!). I also find any and all change and put it into the jar. We only pay with dollars at stores so that all the change goes into the jar (it has really added up that way). I've read every book that our library has on WDW and visited lots of websites. Mousesavers.com has a lot of ideas for saving money for your trip. Keep visiting this site, I have learned so much from these people!

I opened my account this Spring and I have it set up to deduct $20 every week out of my checking account. By the time I get to Disney on Dec 7th, I will have over $650 saved in my ING account- how easy is that!!!
You don't miss $20 per week. It makes it easier to save since it takes a couple of days to transfer the money out of the ING account so you won't be tempted to dip into it or use it as emergency cash.

If you sign up through someone who has an account already (they send you a link to to use), you even get $20 in bonus cash and $10 bonus to the person who gave you the link.

There is another thread on the budget boards about the ING accounts.

Happy saving!

I already have an ING account. I basically do everything that the boards talk about on here. Coupons, saving change, etc.
