Disney discounts - any chance in August?

We are limited to travel in early August. We went to Disney this past August and had an amazing time and are looking to book for next August (around the 5th to the 12th or so). I didn't really research discounts when I booked this past trip but was wondering if there is any chance for discounts at that time of year. I called about a bounceback but the cast member said they don't have those prices up yet??? When we did bounceback before, we had no issues booking it immediately.

There are great discounts during late summer, sometimes free dining, and usually room-rate discounts, as well.

You can't necessarily always expect to get a bounceback for a year in advance, but deals for the general public will come out for summer in the spring.

Pretty sure they had an offer of 1 free quick service/day per person this past summer. Depending on the number of people in your room, this may or may not be better than a room only discount.
Think there was also a room only discount out for those dates as well.

Discounts do exist. If you sign up for some of the disney blogs you should not have trouble finding one.

We for discounts for August 1-11 thru a TA. If I went later in the month then it would of been better but...high school sports start then.....
