We are planing a 11 day trip in June. We have purched the DDP for 3 adults and 1 7year old. I was looking and it said I had 33 adult table service meals & 11 Child table service meals. Question With the Child table service meals do I have to order off the Childrens menu? Thanks

they say yes you must order a child's meal at table service meals but at all you can eat meals and buffets child can eat all that is offered.

Yes - only dining plan that doesn't differentiate or separate credits between adult and child is the deluxe dining plan but you're still supposed to just order off the kids menu.

Yes, but you can age your child up in the system, pay for an adult ticket and adult dining plan, and order what you want. We did it twice when we had free dining. DD has never been a "kids meal" kid. She would have been miserable with nuggets and PBJ for a week. Yes, I do know there are other options on the kids menus but you have to work to find them and they are typically still pretty bland.

My son orders form the Kids menu for most meals and never had Chicken nuggets nor PBJ in the 15 times he has been there.. he was 10 on the last trip still ordered from kids menu except for one meal which he wanted the adult size but they had the exact thing on Kids menu... there are many places in all the parks and DS that have everything form Mahi Mahi to shrimp to grilled chicken to pasta dishes to hamburgers and chicken nuggets should you choose on the kids menu.

Our experience has been that those meals not typical "kid fare" have almost no seasoning on them though. Not very good, and usually 1 to 2 options per restaurant at table service. Counter service is pretty lacking in good kids choices, with the exception of a couple of places in each park offering something outside the standard, but again its a bland, pared down version.
