Disney Dinning Experience for Annual Pass Holders

I just recently learned as an Annual Pass holder, I may purchase the Disney Dinning Experience card for $50.00 (before only Florida residents were elgible?)

Seventy restaurants were listed...which would offer 20% off with this card for up to 10 people in your party. This sounds really good...Especially since I am taking my party of 10 in February. It says to expect this to take several weeks to get the card once you have ordered it....Does anybody know anything about this? Would a confirmation voucher count if my card didn't arrive in time for our February 15th trip? Twenty percent off the meals will help tremendously! :jumping4:

Yes, this is a great deal for us AP holders! And it's great your party of 10 will get to save some $$$. Do to popular demand, I am hearing a couple of different reports on long it is taking to receive-I have heard 4-6 weeks and 6-8 weeks. However, your confirmation will be accepted if it does not make it in time for your trip. You've got about 4 weeks or so until you leave, so it wouldn't hurt to give it a try, accept now you'd have to wait until Monday since they're closed on the weekend.

We received our email within a few hours and our card actually came within 2 weeks, but then again we ordered it in December before the big rush. It was great to get the discount!

They send you a letter (via email or fax) that you can use before you get the actual card.

I ordered mine just the other day. They said it may take 6 weeks to get, but they can send an e-mail or faxed letter to use if we don't get it in time. Someone on another thread said they used the letter this week with no problem.

Almost all sitdown restaurants are included (except for Teppankyi in Epcot and a couple of places on the Boardwalk), but only counterservice at AK, the value resorts, and a couple of the mods.

We ate at Bongo's last Monday & got the 20% DDE discount. We used it three times last week & it has just about paid for itself .

I called on Thursday, January 6, received the email Friday, January 7 & used it three times!

I just became and AP holder in Dec. Can this dining discount be used at breakfast, lunch and dinner? That would definitely make it a good deal!
Thanks for the info. We'll be going back in March and possibly July (as well as Oct and Dec. this year).

The DDE discounts are good for 20% off breakfast, lunch and dinner at participating restaurants, including alcoholic beverages. They are good for everyone in your party (up to 10 people) dining on the same check as the card holder.

I just ordered mine...and just like you said...They will send me an email confirmation to use for my trip in case the card doesn't arrive on time. the discount also includes Donald's Breakfasaurus! Every single place I made Priority seating for gets the 20% discount..I am thrilled!

I just used mine for the first time a week ago. It was very easy--I just showed the waiter my letter (my card didn't have time to arrive) and got my discount. We typically eat at lots of sit down restaurants at the World, so I think this will really pay off for us. I estimate that we already saved about $40 of the $50 cost using the discount on a very short trip.
