since I've been taking my kids since they were 7 and 8, now 15 and 16, we always did counter service meals. We stayed off site so we had a lot of choices when we left the park and didn't want to use touring time for Disney meals.

DD and I are going in 64 days. We're staying on site for 10 days. I was going to do the qs dining plan. But she eats kids meals still and we wouldn't get our money's worth. But some of the TS restaurants look intriguing. I just tried to get BOG and of course it's too late for that. We'll try for lunch. Are there any really good table service restaurants that I should try for? I'm looking for unique atmosphere because DD will probably get chicken nuggets wherever we go, lol. We did do the 50s cafe one year and the kids thought the waitress was hysterical. Like I don't want to do Ohana because of the great food because DD will get nothing out of that and it would blow the budget. But if there's something really unique, please let me know.

The two atmosphere restaurants that come to mind are SciFi Dine In at the studios, and the Mexican pavillion at Epcot. Neither is a gourmet experience, but both are quite immersive when it comes to theming.

Love Sci Fi for the atmosphere! The food is okay, but we definitely go for the fun! I really like the atmosphere at Liberty Tree Tavern, but not sure I would eat there without the dining plan.

thank you!

if there are even counter service places you like, please share.

I want to try Wolfgang Puck and Earl of Sandwich

We will be trying Wolfgang pick this July everything I've heard it's the best quick service in DTD. A lot of people rave about earl of sandwich as well. In the parks it's hit or miss with counter services.
