What an experience!!! We have only ever made two ADR and that was for our wedding a few years back - CRT and 1900 PF ... quick and easy, not a problem seating 18 people.
Fast forward two years ...

Argh!!!! My screen displayed it had took 01:47 minutes to make our reservations ... Hubby is going to murder me when he takes a look at the phone bill next month :scared1:

Long queues, heard the music about 6 times over :rolleyes1

This would definitely put me off making any more reservations. Free or not i think i will continue to eat off site if this is what i have to go through! Certainly not a magical experience! My CM kept getting the dates wrong so i hope, maybe it was my welsh accent!?

well i need to call bk on the 31st May, so far we have:

Monday 17th August: Magic Kingdom
Breakfast @ Crystal Palace approx 8.25am

Tuesday 18th August: Hollywood Studios
Sci Fi dine in 12.20pm

Wednesday 19th August: Relax day
No adrs

Thursday 20th August: Sea World
Dinner @ Ragland Road 5.30pm

Friday 21st August: Epcot
Le cellier 12pm

Saturday 22nd August: Rest day
Hoop de doo revue 5pm

Sunday 23rd August: Animal Kingdom
Breakfast @ Tusker house at 8.25am

Monday 24th august: Magic Kingdom
Breakfast @ Chef Mickeys 9.30am

Tuesday 25th August: Rest Day
Mama Melrose Fantasmic package @ 4.05pm

Wednesday 26th August: Sea World
Dinner @ Boma 6.20pm

Had to switch a few ADRs, le cellier had no dinner reservations and the only day i could get Mama Melrose Fantasmic package was the 25th :worship:

Good luck to you all who are doing free dining ... you will need it ;)

lol - not!!

I'm reading this while I'm on hold to make my ADR's and I have just spoken to the first person who I guess makes sure you are eligable. And would you believe it, his system crashed :scared1::scared1::scared1:

I HAD TO RING BACK AND START AGAIN:sad2:

Anyway, I phoned straight back and got answered straight away and am now on hold for the dining section. Had to laught though, had a automatic message that said "thank you for calling - your call will be answered within ..............." and then it missed the last bit!!! Maybe there isn't a message for such a long wait:rotfl:

Took me 1hr 14 mins to do 11 reservations. 3 left to do but will wait until we are there later this week and call at guest services, can't go thru it again.

In future use a low cost call company, I use telediscount at 1p/min but there are others on here cheaper http://callchecker.moneysavingexpert.com/intcallchecker/usa

Thanks Wayne, i did have a look at that site before but i always prefer to go by recommendation, i will definitely use that link next time i ring! I rang the Disney 0870 number ... oh dear

I cant believe Disney have not sorted this problem before now ... was expecting it to be quiet now there is a recession, lol! Guess that is what happens when they introduce free dining!

From all that I am reading I got really lucky today. I was on hold for 17 minutes, got all the ADR's I wanted witin 10 minutes of my preferred time and the call was over 35 minutes after dialing. I used one of those cheap call discount numbers too so it only cost me 35p!

Very lucky!!! Go on rub it in, lol. Glad u got everything, thats all that matters, i had to change a few reservations but nothing drastic :thumbsup2

I'm all done now.:worship:

Not only did I have problems with the operators system crashing but I then caled back using skype and would you believe it (yes, I would) my system crashed!!!!!!!!!!!!

On my 4th attempt I got through and the only ADR I couldn't get was Yak and Yeti for 17 August although I did get it for 11am, even though I wanted 5pm, but not to worry, I can always eat at any time of day:rotfl:

It took 38 minutes, not including all the other times.

So I am very happy now and after listening to the DIsney ride music whilst on hold, I am excited and want to go - NOW!!!

I can start booking next Monday the 25th May :surfweb: I want the mamma melrose fantasmic package for the 25th august so am keeping my toes crossed .:scared:
It is surprising how nervous you fell when it is coming up to your turn to phone :scared1:
