Disney Dining unable to book BBY 60days out??

Hi All,
Just got off the phone from Disney Dining (60 days out today,calling from Australia at 1 in the morning !!) and was told to call back Thursday to book Blue Bayou.

That will be 56 days out.

The CM say the park resturants wouldn't upload the avaiability until then.

I was able to book GK, but not BBY.

HAs anyone come across this before????

I believe that in-park PS's are available 6 weeks ahead, while other Disney Resort PS's are 60 days.

Huh. Not sure what to tell you.. I just booked our PS for Blue Bayou at 60 days out. Perhaps they're having computer issues?

I would say that this is a computer issue on DL's part. I booked the Blue Bayou 60 days out for July 17th this year.

So I guess your ressies must be 11,12,13 or 14 th of Nov!!!

Sometimes I think there is no rhyme or reason to the Disneyland PS reservations! We did a trip last December to Disneyland and 60 days out I called to make several ressies. At the time, they could only book one for me and told me to call back at 45 days out. I did that and again they could only make 1 for me (that was BB) and they told me for the rest I would have to wait until 30 days out. I have read others that get all their ressies 60 days out. And, I booked out October 15th BB ressie 60 days out this year, so it just confuses me to no end!!!!

I just call on 60 days out, see what I can get, and keep calling back if necessary. It just never seems to work out for me (except for this time!).

If one things appears to be consistent, it is that Disney is inconsistent with some of their things.

My experience in phoning for PS for the BB was 60 days in advance(for Nov. 2), but they couldn't enter it into the computer on the day I phoned, but the nice lady assured me it would be entered into the computer the next day.

So I forgot to phone back and confirm the next day, and left it for a week due to the significant other being perturbed at my unnatural Disney obsession. When I phoned to confirm, the ressie was there for Nov 2 -- so all is well and good.

All that to say that they do have computer glitches.

I finally got my PS for BBY for 11.30 11/17!!

Also got GK for 8.20 on the 11/16.
I wanted around 12-1pm but my friend who rang for me said that the CM told her GK closes at 12md.
ID this normal for the off season??

I just called today for the character breakfast at the Plaza in on November 23rd, and they told me they can't book anything until they get the new "character schedule". What's up with that?!?? They told me to call back at the end of the week. I want to book that breakfast before it all gets booked up. I know that week reservations are going to go fast, because all the kids will be off from school for Thanksgiving Week. I sure wish you could do PS online!

I'll be at BB on Oct. 15 too. I made our PS's about 3 weeks in advance.

I still haven't been able to make my PS for the Plaza Inn Party!

They say the dates aren't in there yet. Hope they are still having it!

I got tired of calling to see if they had opened up dates for the Plaza Inn Birthday Party and I was getting ready to go out of town for a week where I wouldn't have access to call in (camping). So, I asked if I could leave my info with the CM and have her enter it if the dates opened up while I was gone. Well, I got back from camping and the dates still weren't open yet.

So my phone rings at 7:30 last night and the caller id says "Disneyland Resort"--it didn't even occur to me that it was Disneyland Dining. (I guess I was hoping it was a call from Mickey or something.... ) They called me to let me know they had put my PS in the system!!

I guess I wasn't very optimistic it would get done, let alone have them actually call me to let me know I was all set.
