I absolutely love creating pieces for these swaps. So glad I found these boards and stopped lurking early this summer!!!!!!

And I just have to say, lurking on these boards truly inspired me to finish my last trip scrapbook. Everytime I show someone they comment on the altered letters and embellishments and then I can't help but gush about the swap disboards. You are all sooo creative!!

And because of so much beautiful work posted here, I am considering scal still feel alittle...well... but when I have a long weekend I will probably sign up for the demo

It's a first (at Disney). We have not been away without kids since the oldest (now 14) was in Kindergarten!!! It's time! We have decided...the summer flew, but we are still in need of some time away from them!!!! Right now it's "I love them, I just don't like them!!"

I've finished Sci Fi and 1900 Park Fare...currently working on Garden Grill and still thinking about Crystal Palace and O'Hana. DH goes out of town for a few days today so I am sure I will be spending my downtime finishing Garden Grill and starting one of the others this week!

Been working on my journal boxes for Chef Mickeys and need opinions -this it is basic:

I was gonna put on 'Chef Mickey's' in the mickey font but it wont fit - best i can get on is chef mickey -

any opinions? i'm going shopping tomorrow so will have a look for ribbon/brads etc but just thought i'd get opinions before i go!

alrighty, time for a dacky update...

my 1900 PF set is finally completely finished:

And after starting and then trashing too many ideas for Garden Grill, I finally came to a final product...and a few extra bonus pieces from my brainstorming phase lol.

I know in reality that corn and pumpkins aren't harvested at the same time ...but I worked with what I had! Also, I plan to add detail to the pumpkins- will most likely outline them with a thin brown marker- but I left those at work on Friday by mistake!

and now, I will finally work on O'Hana this week? Hopefully! I've been blank on this for weeks.
