Hi I'm sure with all the expertise on here this will be no problem. Could someone tell me how the Disney dining works is it worth up grading?what if you don't have breakfast one day or lunch do you then just lose that meal? Can you refill the cup in the parks? What about dinner shows? Many thanks :confused3

You do not lose any meals or snacks if you don't use one on a particular day. Your meals and snacks are there for you to use at your leisure for the length of your stay however you want to use them. No you cannot fill your mug up at the parks. It is for use at your resort only for the length of your stay for coffee, soda, etc. As far as dinner shows, I'm not entirely sure if all accept the dining plan or only some of them. Somebody else will definitely be able to answer that for you.

This will be our forth year in a row using the dining plan. We love it because we don't have to worry about paying out of pocket and what everything is going to cost on a day to day basis. It's already taken care of and very convenient. Others will tell you they hate the dining plan. Happy planning!

Have a look Here - to the right hand side of the page there are PDF files with info on the different plans :)

You get so many credits per person loaded on your Key to the world card - they don't expire until midnight on check out day.

Very flexible use how you want eg 2 TS credits one day, none the next.

Which resort are you thinking of?

Sometimes it is cheaper to book the deluxe resort and get ddp than a moderate and pay the upgrade from QS to ddp.

You get a refill mug to be used at your resort - can't refill in the parks.

All the dinner shows are 2 TS credits.

We've done ddp twice - one snack, one QS meal and one TS meal a day.

People who upgrade to deluxe tend to want alot of the signature 2 TS meals/shows.

I was one of those people who thought I would hate the dinning plan. We had it for the first time last year and loved it.

We planned all our meals in terms of how many credits and it worked out great. We got to eat at all the places we wanted to and had more than enough food.

There are plenty places to choose from on the counter service option as well. We have also done the CS plan.

We thought about upgrading to the delux but felt that it would be too much food for us. for example if we have a big sit down breakfast we tend not to eat much the rest of the day so a snack for lunch and a cs dinner is more than enough.
