Disney Dining Plan???

My friends & I are looking into it this time & we found this link- which looks maybe like it's a better deal? Hopefully someone can share some experience. I understand what it's saying but I'm just trying to figure out if it's a good deal for us- we don't really wan't to do the restaurants; we mainly stuck to the buffets (haha). If we did get it, it would be the "The Magic Your Way Package Plus Dining" I was just wondering what was considered off limits, especially snack wise too.

Here are the basics:

-cost: $40ish for each adult (age 10 and up) per night, $10 for each child between 3 & 9.

-it gets you: 1 snack, 1 counter service meal, 1 table service meal per person per day.

- tips are not included.

-there's a huge list of which restaurants are included.

-with or without the dining plan, you still need ADRs for any table service meals.

-Every person in your room has to be on the plan for each night of your stay.

Whether or not it's a good deal depends on the people in your party and their eating habits. Check the menus to see what you would typically order, and do the math.

Thank You all for posting, now im more informed on the plan!!!!!!!! :)

If you are "sticking to the buffets" at Disney that means you are eating TS meals. Cost for an Adult is $37.99 per night. Depending on the buffets you select those could easily cost you $25-35pp with taxes. If you assume a snack is valued at about $3 you've either covered the cost for you daily plan or will when you use the CS credit you also get for the day. If there are children in your group (ages 3-9) the Dining Plan and buffets are a fantastic deal. As mentioned above, the plan costs $9.99 per night for a child; only Trails End Buffet cost less than $10 for a child. So the snack and CS meal are "free" for the child that day, a good deal.

Good luck with your planning!
