Ok I booked for March! Couldn't afford to but did anyway. My question is can you use your table service meal for a counter meal? NOw that the gratuity isn't included I can't see us really doing many dinners. we do have kiddos that don't like to sit for very long anyways. SO does anyone know?:cool1:

You can use a TS meal for CS, just not the other way around. Most people don't because it's not really cost effective, but with the tip not included, I see what you mean.

What about going to some of the buffets? I hope I'm not flamed for this but I usually tip around 18-20% at a TS meal if the service is good but at a buffet I would definitely only tip 15% since all they are doing is bringing drinks. You could possibly save some money that way and eat a little better than most CS restaurants. If you are sticking to just CS restaurants, I would definitely be checking out World Showcase ones since they have the most variety.

Well, if you don't do any TS, I can't see how doing the dining plan makes any financial sense, tbh. With buffets, personally, we still tip normally, but at least you know ahead of time what you'll be paying. Plus, they are great for picky eaters. Same with all-you-can-eat places. (We did 4 buffet/all-you-can eat, vs two order-off-the-menu places, and one of those was our date night.)
