I have seen the prices for the Disney Dining plan but, I would like to here form those of you have used. Was it worth the money? And do you have to buy it for every night you stay? or can oyu just buy the number of days you want? Thanks.

We had the DDP during our trip in Dec 2005 and loved it. You have to get the plan for the length of your stay. We will have the free DDP in 4 weeks.

We paid for the DDP in June and it was well worth the money for our family. We have two teenage boys that can eat, eat, eat! We love dining at TS restaurants too, so for us it was a great value!

We purchased it when we went last Oct. It was worth it. We did a lot of buffets. I have a 5 yr old DS who can eat a lot! The kids meals are often not enough for him. We are getting it for free this trip (3 more days!).

We aren't big eaters, so we wondered the same thing. We did a comparison of what we'd probably end up paying, paying for our meals out-of-pocket, versus how much it would cost us to get the Dining Plan. We figured it will save us over $120 over five days, for our party of four adults, and that was assuming that we would order no appetizers and no desserts all week.

We find it a good value, and like the above poster, even if we do not order everything we come out ahead.

We have a child who is priced as an adult for this plan. I thought this might tip things the other way as he is a plain chicken kinda kid and would want a childs entree most of the time. He is, however, savvy to the better cuts of steak.

When I looked over our ADR plans (and menus) it turns out we will come out ahead as a family even with the adult priced child. We have four (out of 9 meals) buffets planned and he would have had to pay the adult price. Some days we don't break even for him, but if I look at the family overall we do save.

Menus can be looked at here www.allearsnet.com

And remember the DDP includes tax and tip.

It works for us. We are 2 adults and 2 kids. If we eat at CP--there is our money that we spent on the dining plan for the day almost. Not to mention the CS and snack. We usually use the CS as a late breakfast and then TS for dinner.
