We are going in November. I need ideas where to eat for table service. I want to get my monies worth. My DH wants to eat somewhere with good steak. Any suggestions? We are going with 6 adults 4 children. Has anyone eaten at Whispering Canyon. What is it like?

What kind of kids menu do they have @ LeCellier?

Check out allearsnet.com. You can find all the menus for all the restaurants there with prices. I was just going through this with DH today so that we were getting the most for our money.

Here are some of the places that we are looking at:

LeCellier - Epcot
Artist Point - Wilderness Lodge (2 credits)
Ohana's - Polynesian
Tony's - MK
Crystal Palace - MK
Coral Reef - Epcot (maybe now that it's only a 1 credit)

Still have to decide on a few others, but that's we stand right now.

Would like to hear where others have eaten to get the most!!! pixiedust:

I'd say we got the most food at Spoodles. The appetizers were very large and the entre's big, too.

Edited to add: If you are looking for lots of food to eat, buffets would be a good choice. But really we never went away hungry from any place we ate, and we didn't even eat the dessert usually.

We ate at Whispering Canyon last month...it is a definite must do.

The have steak, awesome ribs, & lots more.

The atmospere is fantastic...our waiter, "Bullfrog", really got us in on the fun.

We will be eating there again in May.

If you really want to crunch the numbers, fellow DISer MouseEaredKiwi created a spreadsheet with a majority of participating restaurants that listed what the most expensive menu choices were, how much they would cost and then ranked them accordingly. PM me if you are interested. :thumbsup2

Well, to get your monies worth all you have to do is be sure that your dinner adds up to $25 (before tax and tip) with appetizer, entree and dessert as well as beverage that won't be difficult, If your lunch adds up to at least $8.00 before tax and then you have your snack (valued at $2.50) you will easily at least break even. If you are looking for huge portions that will fill up even the heartiest appetite you'd be best of course with the all you care to eat options, Le Cellier, Whispering Canyon, Spoodles. Thouh prices are high at some places that doesn't always mean you get a ton of food. oral Reef comes to mind withtheis one as wella s Artist Point--really I have foudn that you will not walk away hungry from any of these, but the higer the prices usually the smaller the portions. At Coral Reef for example when it says ravioli for an appetizer, it means a ravioli. So if you are going with someone looking for the portions to be falling over the plate these types of restaurants may not be for you.

LeCellier gets a vote from me...make sure your kids get the Moose for desert...what a surprise!!

Great Buffets:
1900 Park Fair (GF) for Breakfast
Chrystal Palace (MK) for Breakfast

Steaks & Lobsters:
Yachtsman Steakhouse (Y&BC)(2)
Narcooses (GF) (2)

 :cheer2: :woohoo: party:
