Do any of you have a suggestions on were for us to go for the DDP. We know we are going to Coral Reef because we had a GREAT time there in July, but any other places we shouldn't miss. Thanks very much We will be there Jan1st-8th

We liked Ohana, Chef Mickey for breakfast, 1900 Park fare, Crystal palace, and Boma.
We also loved CRT; we got to see the Wishes from the inside the castle. It was an awesome experience.
WCC is very popular, but the service was terrible. It could have been just that day, because others were complaining too.
That's all I can remember now.

Where is 1900 Park fare? Is that a dinner place?
It is at Grand Floridian resort. They have the Cinderella's Gala Feast for dinner (if they haven't changed it this year) and Mary Poppins and friends for breakfast. We had the breakfast and it was pretty good.

I just remembered Biergarten at Epcot after candlelight processional. We loved it. We didn't care much for Akershus food. Service was great but didn't like the food.

CG is wonderful. I really didn't care for AP at Wilderness Lodge. CP had some of the best Salmon in the World.

Have you already booked the DDP? If not, I'd see if you can even get ADRs for the restaurants you'd like to visit. If you have, then I'd get on the phone w/ Disney dining ASAP and see what's available. You may have better luck saying "I'll be in the Epcot area on 1/2, what's available for dinner time. " Then you will by saying, "I'd like Le Cellier at 5pm please. "

That said, we enjoyed Akershus for lunch (with princesses), Biergarten for dinner, 50s PT cafe for lunch, and Boma dinner.

:confused3 In your case, with your travel time less thatn two weeks away, Id say that the phrase *beggars can't be choosers* absolutely applies here. Take what you can get, is my only advice

I agree with those who suggested that you call for ADR's now. We also were there Janiary 1 thru 8 and the restaurants were busy. We had luck getting a last minute ADR at Ohana, but had we not had them for every meal we wanted we would have been eating a lot of CS. The parks slowed toward the end of the week but not the restaurants.

We love Restaurant Marrakesh. Definitely a good choice for us.

I like Whispering Canyon Cafe at the Wilderness Lodge. They serve Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. You should make reservations we were told you should make them six months ahead. It is hard to get in without them. And remember to ask for the ketchup. If you go there let me know what you think.
