Disney Dining Plan Questions

I have a few questions about the DDP. I think i read that you get an appetizer.

--One table-service meal (including appetizer, entree, dessert, or full buffet, non-alcoholic beverage, and gratuity/service charge; dessert not available at breakfast)

Now... is that one appetizer per person or is it a single serve appetizer, or 1 appetizer per family? Also...are you charged for another drink (say i wanted a refill) ?

Each member of your party gets an appetizer. Non-alcoholic drinks refills are free. If you haven't done the DDP before, you may be thinking that you will need to buy one meal a day, since the DDP is 1 CS, 1 TS and 1 snack. We thought that we would buy breakfast. We learned that there is so much food on the DDP that we could not possibily eat food more than we were getting on the plan. We usually skip breakfast and just do an early lunch. We have to have time to build up an appetite before our evening TS meal. My family of 6 includes some large appetites. Another good thing to know about the appetizer is that if a menu has an appetizer plate that is stated to be for 2, then 2 members of your party can use that as their appetizer. My daughter and I always get the appetizer for 2 at Nine Dragons.

THANKS SO MUCH! That is so helpful.. Now for the appetizer, if i wanted to get an appetizer for tow, will i have a remaining balance on a card for 1 appetizer?

No, any appetizer that the menu states is for two, will count as 2 of your party's appetizers.

once you use a credit, it is used, there is not partial use. So if you use a TS and only get an appy, iti s istill used.
