You can downgrade to one of the other plans, but WHEN you do that matters. If you're already past your paid in full date, Disney may charge you a "change" fee. If you're not, then you should be able to change without any fees.

Also, everyone in the room has to be on the same plan, so you can't do it for just YOUR plan if there are others in the room who want to keep the DxDDP.
