I thought that you could use a table serv for a counter serv if you wanted to on the dining plan but the castmember I just chatted with said no. what gives? she said that i have to use my entitlements as they are. I mean I dont have to do 1 quick and 1 table per day but that if the 5th day of my 8 day stay ive used up all my quick services then the rest of my meals would have to be table serv.

From what I have read the official policy is that you are supposed to use the credits as they are but a lot of the managers at QS places will allow you to use a TS credit for a QS meal but it is at their discretion.

We used a TS credit at CS eatery every day for lunch for 5 days with no problem. They already have their money for a TS meal, so I'm the one losing out by using it for cheaper food.

You cannot use a CS credit for a TS meal.

We had DxDDP. Maybe it's different with the standard DDP?

They do offer a dining plan with ONLY quick service options, so you wouldn't pay as much as the basic dining plan with table service, and you wouldn't have to worry about using table service credits against counter service.

Dxddp credits are fully interchangeable between ts and cs. Basic ddp credits are not officially interchangeable but you may be allowed to use ts credits for cs, especially at resort cs.
