Just booked our package for June - 6 days - 7 Nights

I am trying to come up with a somewhat organized way to make ADRs..Anyone have any advice on how to plan to meals? I don't have a clue as to where we will be etc. But any advice on how you came up with your plan would be nice.

I am not to worried about the CS portion or the snacks just the meals which I am thinking we might use for dinners each night.

I figured out where we wanted to eat. Then - for the couple that are hard to get (ie: Le Cellier/CRT (breakfast/lunch - we didn't have any trouble for dinner ADR)) - you take what you can get. After that, look at the park time schedule (if it is out yet). For us, it is a little different - we have a 2 yr old, so we have to eat early. I tried to make a dinner ADR at a different park every night, so that way we weren't in Epcot 2-3 nights in a row.

BUT, the first step is determining where you want to eat. HAVE FUN - START DROOLING and have a great time! We're doing DDP for the first time next week too.

We used the Unofficial Guides' crowd calendar to determine what park we think we might try each day of our trip. That helped us narrow our dinning options in that we chose restaurants in that park or on the monorail (we are staying at a monorail resort).

Once I knew what park was lined up for us each day, then the ADRs' came easily.

i pick what park i am in that day and who has extra hours.and them where i want to eat in that park.

like a PP, I picked the most desired/popular/hard to get ADR first. Tried each date that I wanted first. I had to be flexible in the begining because for example LeCellier was booked the first 3 dates I gave. Finally scored a dinner ADR. Then hung up and looked at the park hours etc. and worked in the next priorities.

I did book several adr's for resort restaurants so I wouldn't be tied to a specific park to visit that day (no hopper passes here just the basic tix.)
Finally I mixed in w/ places that DS9 would have the better choices than just a kid's meal for example Biergarten Boma etc

I definately used a scientific method to arranging the adr's. Thanks to these boards I've learned some great info and tips. DH hasn't a clue- must just think our Disney vacation is a "fly by the pants affair".
BUT I know better;) ;) ;) ;)
