Disney Dining Plan and water park cabanas attendants

We will have the Disney Dining plan in effect on our check in day when we plan to visit the water park open in May. We are considering renting a cabana for five of us, which includes three adults and two kids ages 3 and 4. I understand cabanas have attendants that can bring you food and drinks, and that the cabanas have separate group menus. But can we use our dining plan and mobile order from a regular restaurant in the park and have the attendant bring it? Or must we pay out of pocket for cabana delivery food.

How does this work ? Does the attendant get food from kitchens/ restaurants other than the public ones? Do they take our order and scan our cards/bands when it is delivered? Are they not allowed to pick up orders from mobile order restaurants if we give them the number of our mobile order? This could be a deal breaker for us. If the attendant can’t use our dining plan, I think I would rather just rent the cheaper chairs and umbrellas and go to the restaurants themselves for a change.

You can order food in the cabana from a cabana menu that are all shareable platters for 4 people. The attendants are not gathering an order for you from a QS where you could mobile order. You can use QS dining plan credits at the water park, but you will have to go get the food yourself.
