Disney Dining Phone Wait time estimates

Does anyone with recent experience have any info…

I’m on hold, waiting to speak with someone at Disney Dining.

I started the call just after 8am, and the automated message said my wait time was “estimated to be more than 2 hours”

ok…but that’s 10something

it’s almost 12!

is “more than 2 hours” the longest estimate it gives, or does it every say 3 or 4?

(to me, this is totally rediculous, but opinions on that vary and I’m not trying to debate that aspect, just trying to figure out how long I’m likely to be on hold )

People have reported waiting for hours.
Personally I've never waited more tan 10 minutes.
Out of curiosity why are you calling for dining instead of booking online?
Is it for something that cannot be booked online?

I need to cancel something that I can no longer see in my plans

didn’t get part of the way through and have it say it errored but it actually canceled (had that happen many times)

when mde updated for genie it disappeared and I have to cancel it today…

most of my others are still there, just not this one
