Disney Dining Experience is Open to All

Not sure if this is clear, but everyone can now buy the DDE membership card. It is $75 for non AP holders and $50.00 for AP holders. This card basically gives you 20% discount on most dining at WDW except for counter service. Just wanted to clarify that it does not just apply to AP holders and Florida residents.

I wasn't aware that it was open for all, but that sounds good to me!
This program is extremely valuable for Madam Gracey and me. We don't have kids (yet) so we have the flexibility to eat at the more expensive restaurants, thus more savings! Many of our "must do" restaurants are on the list.

One question though, is booze included?

Yes!!! Even some bars! We were there last week and enrolled. I am so excited we have this! The four meals so far have saved us the enrollment cost!

We purchased ours about a week before we left for our trip last Sunday, and all in all muast have saved about $100 over the course of the trip. What a great deal, and the selection of restaurants it can be used at is fanstastic!

Thanks to all who mentioned this beforehand, helping us to take advantage of a program that we would neve have known about otherwise.

I understand the premise behind the DDE but need some more specific info please.

Does each person need a card or is it per family?

Is there a list of places to use the card on the Disney site??

Dh and I are staying in a studio at SSR on our next trip and I'm planning to only have breakfast in each day. So this may be something that we may be interested in getting. BTW, we have AP's.

Can they be ordered ahead of time? If not, where at WDW can you get one?

One card is good for up to 10 people on one check. They will give you one card plus another one for any adult in your household.

Is there any discount for DVC members who aren't AP holders?

It is good for 1 year, you would have to renew each year (or let it lapse and order again for next trip).

No discount for DVC members who do not have AP.
