Does anyone know what restaurants are included with the Disney Dining Experience card that you can get if you are an AP holder?

The information says "select" restaurants. Just wondering if it's the same ones that are included with the AP discount or if there are more.

Also, the discount is 20% - correct? With the AP is it 20% or 10% - can't remember.

TIA! :D

melsmice: There are more restaurants included in the DDE, and there are fewer limits--all meals, and beverages (including alcohol). I think allearsnet.com has a full listing, but it appears to include most full service restaurants at the parks and the resorts, and some food courts. Sounds like a great deal, but I am leaving today and I can't get one in time.

What is the Disney Dining Experience? I feel so out of the loop with all these changes. Just when I thought I was a certified Disney Nut, they changed everything! Oh well, that means I get to do more research. ;)

The Disney Dining Experience is a membership that for the past few years has only been available for Fla Res. They recently opened it up to AP holders. It allows you a 20% discount on many of the Disney Restaurants.

Here is a list that is accurate. I recently renewed my mine and the list has stayed the same.
The Cost is $75, AP pay $25 less.

The list is very simple. There are four groups.

1. All full-service and buffet restaurants in the parks (except Japan and Rainforest Cafe).

2. All full service and buffet restaurants in the Disney Resorts as well as the lounges in the Deluxe Hotels.

3. The food courts in the Resorts which do not have full service restaurants (AS/PC)

4. Others and restrictions -- Official All Star Cafe (WWS); Cap'n Jack, Wolfgang Puck Cafe, Planet Hollywood (at DTD); Hoop Dee Doo (Late Show Only); Spirit of Aloha (Late Show Only); Sand Trap Bar & Grill (Bonnet Creek Golf); No Chef's Table at V&A; No Take Out at Beaches & Cream.

Thanks, everyone. Looks like we'll be getting one. Are they good for one year?

Do you know if you get 2 cards with a membership?
if so, can i put 2 different names on them?

You can get 2 cards, but just so you know, only 1 person in the party has to have 1. So I would assume you can get 2 different names on them. But I'm not positive.

Just did it, you get 2 cards and they are e-mailing a letter so I can use it in 2 weeks. It will take 4-6 weeks for the real card to get to me. I believe it will exprire Jan. 31, 2006. If you get it this month. It is supposed to be a 12 month card.

The employee website says (under DDE) under the FAQ section.

HOW MANY CARDS CAN I GET?

"We issue 1 primary card and 1 spouse card. Both members must live at the same address and be 21 years of age or older."

I ordered mine two days ago. FYI, with the AP announcement it took 4 tries before I even got through, then I waited on hold, then I gave up and called back to get the number to call and leave a message - but got a live one when I called that number!

They let me get two cards with different names on them. I'm leaving next Friday (HOORAY!!) and so she sent me an e-mail to print out and take in place of the card that won't arrive yet.

The membership is good for a year.
