Disney Dining Experience and Polynesian Luau

We are new DDE members and we understand that the DDE discount applies to the late show of the Luau. When we called today to arrange our priority seating for the Luau, we paid the full regular price to reserve our seats. When do we receive the DDE discount, when we arrive at the Luau, when we pick up our Luau tickets at Guest Services, or should we ask for the discount now before we leave? Thanks.

We did the same thing. Booked before we joined DDE. We arranged to pickup the Luau tickets at out resort. When you pick up your tickets, tell them you are a DDE member and want to apply the discount to your reservation. We had no problem doing this and got the 20% off.
