Disney Dining DVC Discount?

My Daughter is going to be in WDW with some friends and visiting some of the restaurants in the parks that give DVC discounts. I was wondering will she be able to use my DVC card and get a discount. It is my name on the card but we do share the same address. Do they ask for identification? Thanks,

Any time I have used the card for a discount weather dine or retail they have sled for ID

Technically, no, if she's not the member she is not entitled to the discount. I've had them ask for ID, I've had them not ask for ID.

I've always been asked for ID along with my bluecard, but aside from that she isn't a member so technically not eligible for the discount.

They're getting pickier on these lately but it's not consistent. We don't use the DVC/AP discount as much since we have TIW but it's getting more difficult too.

A server told us last week that they have to check for IDs because if the check doesn't match then they are getting popped for it at audits occasionally. This was at Olivia's and she claimed that it was because they were a smaller, less visited place so easier to see and find.

I did get an AP discount at Earl of Sandwich last Sunday and the only thing I had on me at the time was the AP slider on my Magic Band. Showed it to the girl at register and she keyed it in

Only those individuals listed on the deed will receive DVC Member Cards, are considered owners and are directly eligible for member benefits.

You can have individuals listed on your membership as 'Associate Members'. Associate Members are not owners, don't receive Member Cards and are not directly eligible for member benefits.

Household Members (like Associate Members), are not owners and are not directly eligible for member benefits.

They can get the annual pass discount with you but they are not members.

In 20+ years of DVC I have been asked for my ID once at Rain Forest Café about 3 years ago.

Nothing to be sorry over but yeah they're not members. Now if you have them listed on the Deed then that's another story.
