I have read here that AP holders can get a Disney Dining Card which awards them discounts on dining.....is that in addition to the 10% that passholders ALREADY get?

How do I get this card and what benefits does it carry?

Passholders only get a 10% discount on food in very limited circumstances - only at lunch, and only at certain restaurants (Epcot sit-downs and a few resort sit-downs, I believe).

The DDE is an unlimited use card for any time of day which gives you 20% off of the ENTIRE meal, including liqour. It works at virtually every sit-down restaurant on property, and the counter service restaurants at the Animal Kingdom and the value resorts (as those locations do not have a sit-down option).

You can find out more about the cardhere .

I love mine - paid for itself in just a couple of meals!

Ok, so am I understanding that you get 20% off character meals as well (like at Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace)? :Pinkbounc

Yes, 20% off character meals, however, it does not apply to "packages"...so you could not use it for the Fantasmic Dnr Pkg or the Candlelight Processional Pkg or other "special" event.

It is also good for 1/2 off admission to Pleasure Island and discounts at the late seatings of the luau and Hoop-Dee-Doo.
