My family and I will be going to DW in October for 9 days. My mom, myself, and my younger brother are grouped on a confirmation and the other half of my family is on their own their own confirmation. In other words we are traveling together but have booked seperately. Since my group will be arriving a day earlier our 180 days out will happen one day earlier. Can I be the one to call and make the reservations for both parties? Since there is only 3 of us on my confirmation can I still call and make reservations for 9 of us? We want to eat together just need to know if we need to do it all together. I hope this question isnt too confusing. :confused3

Yes you can book for everyone. I'm the official disney dining booker for my whole family. On monday I booked meals that had 11 people to some that were just for dh and I.

I get ADR's all the time... and most of the time I am not even staying at Disney World. I'm driving in from home for that afternoon.

The ADRs are not really attached to your hotel reservation. The CM's always ask if you are 'staying on property' but I think that is more of a survey question and for them to flag it so the CM's at the hotel can look them up for you easier.

The OP will be calling to book 180 + 10 so they will need their resort res #. The CM will ask for it to confirm they are in fact a resort guest. The reason the CM asks if you are staying on property is not a survey question. If you say yes they will then ask if you are on the dine plan. If you say no there is no need to ask that question since you can't be on a dine plan if you are not a resort guest.
