OK, so I saw these a couple of years ago in Epcot (and didn't pick one up then). Questions:

1) are these still available?
2) if so, does anyone know the SKU number so I could order one?
3) what colors are available?

Thanks!

Seems to me that this is one of the few die cast "Attractions Collection" still being sold. Mine is red, but I never looked to see what colors are available currently. I'll take a look next trip.

The item number is 38057

The printed bar code SKU # is 724328 380575

The number printed on the price tag is 40012777007

Thanks. I was contacted by WDW Merchandising saying that they still carried them, and that they are $15 plus $9.95 S/H. Unfortunately, they couldn't tell me what colors are available. They also said that there is no guarantee as to what color I'd actually receive. Still, it's cheaper than what they're going for on Ebay...and without the hassles. The lady I talked to said that she thinks they only release one color at a time, so I'd get whatever color was available when I ordered...but she wasn't sure. If you could let me know what colors are available and where they're being sold at, I'd sure appreciate it! Thanks!

I have one but I never even thought of different colors... Great now I need more shelfs

Stopped by "MouseGears" this evening- the current monorail color is silver. Last time I looked it was purple. The packaging no longer says "Attractions Collection" so I guess that series is history.

Thanks everyone for the info.

'flyinlizard': the one you saw was the die-cast model that's around $16 and about 1.5 feet long, right? Just wanted to make sure. Thanks!

flamanar- no, the die-cast one I have and the one I saw at EPCOT is only approx 12"... and still $15.00.

Probably the same one. I haven't seen one of them since 2000, so my eyes might be a little larger than my head in this case ;) Thanks!

I saw these monorails for the first time, actually on youtube - very cool video BTW!! And of course...now I want the set!! BUT, I cannot imagine where I could put it up - one guy on youtube has it going around his Christmas tree - very cute!! I didn't realize they were still for sale. I had only checked Ebay and they were VERY costly!! I really LOVE the whole monorail spiel!! :lmao:

I think you're referring to a different monorail set...not the diecast. The diecast one doesn't go anywhere (it's just for display). They used to carry (maybe still do...I don't know) a monorail set that had track and you could buy accessories for it (Contemporary resort, Polynesian, etc.). Different monorail...unless the guy on Youtube bought about a dozen diecast sets and lined them up end-to-end around his Christmas tree ;) BTW, any link for that Youtube vid?

OH...you are so right!! :thumbsup2 Thanks for the clarification. Now maybe I should just get one of the diecast ones - this way I would actually have somewhere to display it!!
