Disney Destination emails

Hi,
i signed up to receive emails from Disney Destinations in 2009 - an have never received one! I just checked my profile, and I have the box ticked. Does anyone else receive the emails - or because we live in Australia do they not send them to us?

PS - I have checked my junk email folder as well.

Me either but i am getting them form Disney Paris which i signed up to at the same time

There used to be (and probably still is) a whole thread dedicated to this over in the resorts discounts board.

Personally I found that to get the emails I did the following things.

1. Open up a new Disney account using either a gmail or yahoo email address
2. Put down a US address as my home address
3. Saved a resort/holiday offer. Then signed out of my new account and didn't sign back in
4. Waited for an email to come from Disney telling me to explore my resort picks
5. Sign back into my new Disney account, delete all of the saved holiday offers
6. Once again sign out, and here's the tricky part - Stay signed out!

After doing this it was almost like opening the flood gates I probably got 1 or 2 a month for about 4 months, if not longer. I never ended up booking any of those deals though, because my AP discount was better.

Having said all that though, there have definately been some Aussies who have gotten the discounts without following the above. It's very hit and miss, which can be found out in the thread on the resorts board, but it has worked for a lot of people.
