LOL When we saw Stuart Little in the theater -- what was that 2 years ago?? -- my little one wanted to LEAVE. He was flipping out telling me and I quote, "Staurt's in twouble!" (not a typo) I had to convince him Stuart would be OK ad we should stay. He stayed on my lap til right near the end.
He KNOWS it's not real ... but like me, he really gets into the movie.
When I went to see the Polar Express with my DGD, the little girl behind us, about 6, freaked out when the engineer grabbed the little girl and they said he was going to throw her overboard or some such. Just freaked. They had to leave. The girl in the movie was okay, but you didn't know it for at least 10 minutes. This also was a scene just in the movie, not in the book, so you couldn't prepare for it. And this was a so-called kiddie movie!!
