Oh man, almost to page 998. You all go to bed and no more posting until about 9AM when I can be here.

If I miss it, give a shout out to me please!

I'm still back twenty pages or so, looking at all the beautiful trees and decorations, and I just want to cry. I honestly don't know how my DD and I are going to make it through December.

Last Christmas we were at the Poly conceirge Hawaii building for 12 days 11 nights. We left home the 16th and returned the 27th. So no tree had to go up.

Fast forward to now. We have merged our households. We get the tree. We have a real fireplace to hang stockings. I go downstairs into the storage room. I find some lights. Some very old handmade ornamnets.

I look for my big box of ornments and my stockings. My DD does the same. Dsil asks, where did you see it last? Under the steps at the old house. Something in his eyes make us stare. "Hey, we agreed not to bring the fake tree and anything else we hadn't used in years. :sad1:

Hmmmm, we didn't use the decorations last year because we were in DisneyWorld. You wouldn't have thrown out our ornamnets would you? Dsil "Well, I gotta go to choir practice." :guilty: :guilty:

My DD and I have accepted the reality that he threw away our Christmas decorations. But the enorminty of this is making us sick. Literally. :bitelip:

Her stocking that she has hung every year since she was two. (we took it to Disney!!) All of the "my first Christmas all the way to My seventh Chritmas." ornaments. All of the special ornaments we recieved from the dead relatives. All of our Disney ornaments. :faint: :faint: :faint: :faint:

I'm going to bed. I am burying myself under the covers. If I don't post anytime this weekend, send in tinker1bell to peel me off the floor.

My heart is broken. Goodnight.....

Of course, if I go on like this I might make it to page 1000 all by myself.

I have to tell you that when Stephanie told me this, I got literally sick to my stomach. When I told DH, even he stopped in his tracks and looked at me with such a pained look on his face. I then called my sister (tinker1bell's sister) and told her.
I am crying now for Stephanie. I had gotten her some ornaments for christmas, I will give her them tomorrow. This will not replace what she has lost but as she told me earlier this week, We just have to start new memories.

Marti my heart goes out to you. :grouphug:

Steffy I cannot imagine your loss. That is so sad.

Do you think you could PM me her address (if you feel comfortable). I'd like to send her an ornament or two. :(

If anyone wants to join me in collecting ornaments for Steffy, PM me and I'll give you my address and then we'll send them all together.

If ya'll could see Steffy's house, you would be blown away. It is the house that she always wanted. With the loss of all those ornaments, it will take a lot to make it "home" again. It was really a such a fluke that the boxes were thrown away, because I know that her DSIL did not mean harm, they were just moving and were trying to get things done.
She will make it, it was just such a blow after all she had been through with moving and all. :grouphug:

I think everyone is all tucked in now but I just want to say I have two of my own DS 15 and 17. I did breast feed them and loved doing it.

About five years ago I started wanting another baby and my DH said no way. I prayed about it and the way God answered my prayer was not exactely what I had in mind but I now have a 5-year-old son.

My dear younger brother age 33 and his girlfriend had a baby and when Jessie was 4 months old my brother was killed in a car accident. I started keeping Jessie so his mom could work and she gave us custody of him in January 2003. He does not realize that my husband is not his dad and he thinks he has two mommies.

Like I said God answered my prayers but not exactly as I would have wanted them answered because I would much rather still have my brother.

On another note I did not have a C-section but I did have a hysterectomy in February and my belly is still sore.

That is a long time for recovery, check with your DR to make sure there is nothing that needs to be looked at
