Well, Magical Express was great. 20 minutes from gate to bus, and received luggage in 2 hours. PD as we got one of only 2 Lodge Tower Rooms (with bonus sitting area) and a balcony. Concierge has been great. The food and snacks are wonderful. the kids are living off the cupcakes.

The GF is gorgeous. Just gorgeous. And the Gingerbread House and tree are amazing. They were playing Christmas music tonight in the lobby. CR was really fun. Sat in the main room for Chef Mickey so we got tons of interaction. Kids loved waving their napkins and seeing the characters. Rees couldn't eat ANYTHING as he was completely obsessed with the monorail going through the building.

We're unpacked, have the shirts ready to go. So far it's been great! I'll try to post each night. Thanks again everyone for making this such a special trip!

We always say for everything naughty Santa takes one present away - this was how I explained to DS(12) when he was about 7 why one of his classmates insisted parents buy all the presents, anyway this child was notoriously naughty (I had to pick Josef up from school once early because the child had hit Josef on the head with a wooden brick) so I explained that if his parents didn't buy presents he wouldn't get any because Santa had taken all his out of the sleigh.

The famous line in dh's family (that we use now, too) is: "Oops there goes a present up the chimney."

DH went shopping on Black Friday and called me from the Walmart toy aisle. Here are his mutterings as he looked in the Barbie section...

Last year the Hallmark shop sold the "bell" with the little leather string attached. I am pretty sure it was the Hallmark shop. I got it for the boys for Christmas last year. Wrapped it in a little special box just like the movie. They thought it was really cool that their mom and dad DID hear it jingle.

What a great idea! I'm going to have to look for that bell and do that too.

DH is sick!! He has a nasty cold, all head stuff. I told him yesterday that he wouldn't make it to work today, but he was absolutely going. Guess what, he's home He should know after almost 19 years that I'm always right. I'll run out and get him some cold meds later and that will hopefully help. Colby, ds3 has decided that he will put the ornaments on the tree. I explained that older brothers will not be happy if there are no ornaments left for them to put on, but he doesn't care. It looks like our tree will be beautifully decorated on the bottom 3 feet
Since several of you spent most of the night posting I'm guessing that some of you are sleeping in this morning. Except Steamboat Marti and she is volunteering at school on no sleep. Poor woman.

I have that shirt too! I always buy the kids' shirts in the largest size, because the adult tees never fit me right!

I am on a desperate search for just a plain Barbie doll for Alyssa and can't find one. They are all rock stars, ballerinas, cali, trendy, or even PREGNANT!

The pregant barbie is Midge and she is married to ALAN and alan comes with a little boy doll.
My Dnieces have them/ their is also a grandparents set.

I'm disappointed that I logged off early and missed Denise's live report. The pictures are great. Seeing and hearing from her Live from WDW! is really getting me excited for our trip. Seventeen days to go!!
